What print on demand means.
With print on demand, you never buy stock. Your products only exist as designs in your shop. When a customer orders, your print partner prints that one item, packs it and ships it to your customer. You pay for the product only after the sale, and you keep the difference.
The AI Print on demand app.
Sell custom T-shirts, mugs and more in minutes. Pick a product, design it, and list it in one click.
- Printful’s full catalog. Hundreds of products, with search and category filters.
- Your design, or the AI’s. Use your own design, or let the AI design 1, 2, 4 or 8 options. Each design is 1 credit.
- Free mockups. Mockups are free, and upscaling is 1 credit.
- A shop-ready name. The AI suggests a product name, which you can edit.
- Description and SEO, done. Every listed product gets a description and full SEO, about 1 credit per product.
- One click to list. Press List it and the product is in your shop straight away. My products keeps everything you have listed.
Why 3Edit makes it easy.
- AI designs your collection. Ask for a summer collection, a funny mug or a logo T-shirt, and choose from 1, 2, 4 or 8 designs.
- One click to list. Say ‘list it at £25’, and the product appears in your shop with its pictures, sizes and colours.
- Your own shop. A complete online store with checkout, customers and orders, on your own website and your own domain.
- Orders run themselves. Paid orders go to Printful automatically, and tracking reaches your customer by email.
- Fair shipping at checkout. Your customer pays Printful’s real shipping price for their country, worked out live.
- No technical knowledge needed. You chat, choose and publish.

How to connect Printful.
You only do this once. About five minutes.
- Create a free Printful account
- Add a store in Printful for your own website (an API store).
- Open the Printful Developer Portal and create a private token for that store.
Tick all permissions - Copy the token, then paste it on your shop’s Print on demand page and press Connect.
- In Printful, add a payment card (Billing, Billing methods), so Printful can charge you for each order it prints and ships.
That’s it. New products and orders now flow between your shop and Printful by themselves.
Your store, your way.
A starter kit is a starting point, not a box. Every part of your shop is yours to shape: your brand, logo, colours, fonts, pages and layout. Just tell the AI in plain words what you would like to change, and 3Edit does it for you. No coding and no design skills needed.
Sell on Etsy and eBay too.
Reach even more shoppers on the big marketplaces. Start today through Printful, and soon do it all from your 3Edit store.
Manage them in Printful
Add several stores to the same Printful account, such as your 3Edit store and an Etsy shop. Printful fulfils their orders directly.
- Design and list your product with 3Edit.
- In your Printful account, add your Etsy or eBay store (Stores, Add store).
- Copy the product to that store with a Printful product template, and publish it.
- Printful prints and ships those orders, and you manage them in your Printful account.
Everything from your 3Edit store
- One-click listing from your 3Edit store to Etsy, eBay and Amazon.
- Every order in one place. Orders from your website and the marketplaces, together in your 3Edit store admin.
What it costs and what you keep.
Printful charges you for each product when it is ordered: the item, the printing, shipping and VAT. You set your own price. For example, in a real test order a T-shirt sold for £20 plus shipping, and Printful’s total for the T-shirt, printing, UK shipping and VAT was £12.69. The difference is yours, before payment fees.
Returns and refunds, made simple.
Printful stands behind every item it makes. Here is how it works, and what you do.
- Made to order. Printful doesn’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size or wrong colour.
- Damaged, defective, misprinted or lost? Printful sends a free reprint or a refund, and the item doesn’t need to be sent back. Misprints include wrong placement, wrong colours and the wrong item.
- Claim within 30 days. Within 30 days of delivery, or 30 days after the estimated delivery date for a lost package. Claim from your Printful Dashboard or through Printful’s support team, with a clear photo, or a video if several items are affected.
- Wrong address? If your customer entered a wrong address, Printful can arrange a reshipment, and the reshipping costs apply.
- Returned parcels. A parcel that can’t be delivered, is refused or is never picked up goes back to Printful’s facility by default. You then have 30 days from Printful’s notice to reship it to the same or a new address from the Returns page in your Dashboard.
- Your own return address. You can set one only if it’s in the US and not a PO box, and you then handle those returns yourself.
What you do
- Ask your customer for a clear photo.
- Submit the claim in your Printful Dashboard within 30 days.
- Refund or reship from your 3Edit store. A refund is one click, and your customer gets an email automatically.
Fewer returns, happier customers.
- Show a size guide. Add one to every product to help customers choose the right size.
- Write your returns policy. Make your shop’s own returns policy match Printful’s.
- Check your country’s rules. In the UK and EU, online shoppers have cancellation rights, and personalised items are often treated differently, so it’s worth a quick check with an adviser.
Market it with the rest of 3Edit.
3Edit is also your marketing suite. Turn your products into social posts with Design, animate them with Motion, make video ads with UGC / Ad, and add music and voice-overs with Voice & Music, all from the same app.
Your customers can personalise too.
Sell personalised products your customers will love. On a product page they press Personalise, upload their own logo or picture, add text, and move and resize it on the print area with a live preview. Then they add it to the cart.
You switch it on for each product. Printful prints and ships the personalised file like any other order, and personalisation uses no credits.
