1Who We Are

3Edit is a product of RACING LABS LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about these Terms, email us at info@3edit.org or use the contact form on our website.

2The 3Edit Service

3Edit is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that builds websites with AI. You choose what powers it:

• the 3Edit Agent, our online AI, which uses AI credits
• your own Claude Code or Codex subscription, connected to the app from your own account with that provider
• 3Edit Node, a local AI that runs on your own computer, so your prompts stay on that computer

Your projects and their code are stored on your own computer. Your web account at www.3edit.com is where you manage billing, use lead generation and download the app.

3Your Account

You need an account to use 3Edit. You must be at least 18 years old to create one. Please give accurate details, keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us straight away at info@3edit.org if you think someone else has used your account.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. The free trial is one per person.

4Plans, Free Trial and Prices

Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. No card is needed. The trial includes 3Edit Node and the use of your own Claude Code or Codex subscription. The free trial may include AI credits for the 3Edit Agent, as shown on our pricing page. Free trial benefits are given once per computer. Agency trials are offered after a short demo, for 14 days, with the allowance shown on our agencies page.

The Agency plan includes 500 lead results a month. Every account gets one free lead search of 20 results. Lead packs are also available:

All prices are in pounds sterling (£). The price you will pay is always shown before you confirm a purchase. Existing subscribers keep their current price for as long as their plan continues. New prices apply only to new subscriptions.

5AI Credits

AI credits are used when the 3Edit Agent does work for you. 3Edit Node and your own Claude Code or Codex subscription do not use credits.

• Your plan's credits are renewed at the start of each billing period. On a yearly plan, the whole year's credits are added at the start of the year.
• Unused plan credits do not build up without limit. Where your plan allows it, unused plan credits carry over for a limited time, which is shown in your account; otherwise they end when the period ends.
• Credits you buy separately stay available when your plan renews.
• Credits and lead results have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be exchanged for money.

6Payments, Renewals and Cancelling

Payments are processed securely by Mollie, our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.

• Plans renew automatically each month or each year, depending on the billing period you choose, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from Billing in your web account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• If you choose to upgrade or downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at your next renewal.
• If a payment fails, we will try again and let you know, so you can update your payment details.

7Refunds and Your Right to Cancel

If you buy as a consumer in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of your purchase. Because 3Edit is a digital service that starts straight away, you ask us to start the service as soon as you pay, and you agree that:

• If you cancel within 14 days of a purchase, we refund you minus a fair amount for anything you have already used.
• This applies to plans, credit packs and lead packs.

After the 14 days, payments are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. If something goes wrong on our side, for example the service is not available as described, please contact us at info@3edit.org and we will put it right or give you a fair refund. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Refunds are paid back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of our agreeing to them.

8When a Plan or Trial Ends

When your plan or free trial ends:

• Sites on 3Edit hosting are temporarily redirected to www.3edit.com. They come back automatically when you choose a plan again.
• Sites you have published to your own Vercel account stay live. They belong to you.
• Projects on your computer are never deleted. They stay yours.

9Connected Accounts

You can connect your own accounts with other providers. You approve each connection on that provider's own screen, and you can remove it at any time, from 3Edit or from the provider.

• Supabase: the 3Edit Agent can read and change your own Supabase projects, and may read database records to do the work you ask for. Organisation and team settings are read-only, and it has no access to your Supabase billing. Before 3Edit changes your database, it makes a backup, and you can restore a backup from the app. It asks before deleting stored files, and after changes it checks who can read and write each table.
• Vercel: lets you publish your sites to your own Vercel account.
• GitHub: lets you sync your projects to your own repositories.
• Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT or Codex (OpenAI): when you connect your own subscription, the work runs under your account with that provider.

Your use of each connected account is also governed by that provider's own terms and charges, which are between you and the provider.

10AI-Assisted Work and Your Review

3Edit uses AI to help create websites, content, layouts, code, designs and other outputs. The 3Edit Agent uses third-party AI model providers to do this work.

We aim for high-quality, useful results. Like any software or human developer, AI does not get everything right every time, and its output may need review, editing, testing or further work. By using 3Edit, you agree that:

• results depend on your instructions, your project, connected services and the AI you choose
• you are responsible for reviewing, testing and approving any output before you publish it, share it, sell it or rely on it in a live or business-critical setting
• you should not assume any output is complete, accurate, legally compliant or fit for a particular purpose without your own checks
• where needed, you should get independent technical, legal or other professional advice before relying on an output

11Desktop App Licence and Intellectual Property

3Edit, including the desktop app, the website, our branding and our software, is owned by RACING LABS LTD and protected by intellectual property laws.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the 3Edit desktop app while you have a 3Edit account, in line with these Terms. You must not unpack, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows this and cannot be excluded. You must not copy, resell or redistribute the app.

The websites, content and code you create with 3Edit are yours. If you ever lose work, email us at info@3edit.org and we will gladly help you try to recover it.

12Lead Generation

Lead generation helps you find businesses to contact. It is for business-to-business (B2B) use only, unless we say otherwise.

By using lead generation, you agree that:

• coverage varies by country, region, sector, town and other factors, and some areas will have fewer results than others
• we do not guarantee that every search returns results, a high number of results, or commercially suitable results
• we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, freshness or quality of any lead or business record
• results depend on data available from third-party sources, which is outside our control
• you are responsible for checking that results suit your intended use before relying on them

13Your Free Search and Testing

Every account gets one free lead search of 20 results, so you can see how lead generation works for your market before buying a lead pack.

• the free search is a chance to test the service, not a guarantee of results
• it is your responsibility to use it to judge whether the service suits your market, location and needs before you buy
• results can differ between niches, locations and types of campaign
• the free search and any other offers may change or end at any time

14Lead Generation Compliance and Your Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use any leads, data or search results you get through 3Edit. You agree that you will:

• use lead generation only for lawful B2B purposes
• follow all laws on privacy, data protection, marketing and communications that apply where you operate
• carry out your own compliance checks before contacting any lead

You must not use lead generation:

• for spam or unsolicited messages sent in breach of the law
• for misleading, abusive, harmful or fraudulent activity
• to target consumers, as the service is for B2B use
• in any way that breaks privacy, data protection, electronic marketing or communications laws

Using 3Edit does not on its own make your outreach or data use compliant with the law. Compliance remains your responsibility.

15Affiliate Programme

You can apply to join the 3Edit affiliate programme from the Referrals page in your web account. We review every application.

• Approved affiliates get a personal referral link and earn commission on eligible subscription payments made by people who sign up through it. The current commission rate, the discount for referred customers, and the eligible plans are shown on our Affiliates page and in your account.
• Commission is confirmed after a holding period and paid once your earnings reach the minimum payout amount shown in your account.
• Referring yourself, or using misleading, spammy or unlawful promotion, is not allowed. We may cancel commission earned this way and remove an affiliate from the programme.
• We may change, pause or end the programme. Commission you have already earned under the rules at the time will still be honoured.

16Partner Programmes and Special Offers

From time to time we may offer special offers, discounts or partner promotions. Each offer may have its own conditions, which are shown with the offer. Offers may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time, and offers from third-party partners are also subject to the partner's own terms.

17Acceptable Use

Please use 3Edit lawfully and in a way that respects other people. You must not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, server or data
• use 3Edit for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive or misleading activity, or to build sites that do so
• upload or spread malicious code, spam or material that infringes someone else's rights
• copy, scrape, resell or exploit our service or software in any way these Terms do not allow

If you send us information, for example through our contact form, it must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not be unlawful or harmful.

We may suspend or restrict an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, or where this is needed for security or to comply with the law. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.

18Third-Party Services

3Edit works with third-party services, such as the accounts you connect and the providers that help us run the service. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their terms. Please read their terms and privacy policies before you use them.

19Information and No Professional Advice

The content on our website is for general information. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it always is.

Nothing on our website or in 3Edit is legal, financial, tax, regulatory or other professional advice. Please carry out your own checks and get independent advice where appropriate.

20Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RACING LABS LTD is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, business, opportunity or data, arising from:

• your use of, or inability to use, 3Edit or our website
• reliance on AI-generated content, code, designs or other output
• lead-generation results, a lack of results, or commercial outcomes
• third-party services, connected accounts, partner programmes or offers
• temporary unavailability, maintenance or technical problems

If we are found liable to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

21Changes to 3Edit or These Terms

We keep improving 3Edit, so we may update the service, our plans or these Terms. When we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

22Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

23Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, this website, or our services shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
